An encounter

I prepared for bed; turned my computer off, changed into shorts. I left my room closing my door behind me so no light peaked through the hallway into Dallin and Nadya's room. I realized all the lights were off in the apartment; Dallin and Nadya must have turned them all off when i was in my room. I waited for my eyes to adjust and then felt my way slowly to the kitchen. The kitchen was darker then the front room, so I reached out to feel for the table while staring ahead. Then I realized i couldn't see out the window. We never close the blinds and I can always see into the backyard when the lights are out. And my vision blurred as my eyes tried to focus and realized something was standing between me and the window.

I had a moment of panic flood over me as I realized I was not alone in the kitchen. I felt it then like all the sudden it's pressence was in my reality. I could sense it and feel it's life. It was cautious. It was trying to stand still and not be seen. It was as paniced as I was. It's caution turned to agitation when I did not move. I felt it willing me to leave and not see or remember it. I took a step back wanting to run from that which i couldn't see clearly. I wanted to not accept that something like this could exist in my kitchen at four in the morning. But I stopped. I moved forward slowly as it watched me. I willed it to move because I was thirsty and I needed a glass of water. It moved to the side and I saw the window and the starlight coming in. I reached over and turned the kitchen light on and there was nothing in the room. I searched the fridge but I had nothing to drink in it. I went back to my room and turned the light off and crawled into bed.

I quickly fell asleep.

I heard a chime and reached over and picked up my phone. There had been no call, and no alarm went off. It was 5:12. My bed shook. I looked up and saw five people standing around my bed. I layed my head back down and closed my eyes. I saw them clearer with my eyes closed. I opened my eyes again and they were still there. A man with shaggy shoulder length hair climbed on my bed. I felt the bed move under me as he did so. I layed back down closing my eyes tighter, I could still see him. He pushed his forehead against mine. I felt pressure but no physical contact. He asked me in a whisper If I could see him. I didn't asnwer. He pressed harder asked me again. I nodded. He grabbed my arms and squeezed. I felt pressure, like air tightening, but no physical contact. He aske me again and I opened my eyes and thought very loudly "Yes. I see all of you." They all moved back and looked at eachother. The man on my bed floated up and back to land in a standing position at the foot of my bed. Then they all stopped and looked at me and at the same time reached out for me. I felt the air in my room grow tight and cold. My eyes rolled back and the next thing I remember is waking up.
